The heater responds very quickly and due to the unique design of bottom pan, the cooking is even. No need to tilt the food items. I tried frying chicken and applied no oil. The chicken got cooked in its own fat and also released excess fat. This gets collected in the bottom pan. The chicken was cooked evenly with a crunchy crust and soft inners. The bones were also cooked. I took the marinated chicken directly from the freezer and cooked it. The airfryer thaws and cooks the chicken thoroughly. All my tandoor needs are fulfilled.There are some reviews mentioning the item as difficult to clean. I differ from them. The design of the Pan is perfect for easy removal and washing. It took me just 5 minutes to clean the gauge and the underlying Pan.This airfryer in my opinion is the best in the market.

And because there is no on/off switch, you have to rotate the timer knob in reverse to zero to shut off the air fryer. If you simply remove the basket, the hot air keeps blowing into the appliance which is quite dangerous I think. the other model (PHILIPS Air Fryer HD9200/90) shuts off automatically if one removes the basket. I don't know why they didn't include this feature int his model.

Air fryer is mere a heating coil with fan plus nice body.Where risk of plastic part is always there.We are able to use mainly for french fries. Use 9 mm french fries,that comes good. 6mm will not come good but OK. Rest all is waste;Instead I would prefer desi Tandoor.Piza extra not suitable, as melted cheese will spoil mesh and bottom surface; Hardly big size bread could be kept; Where in tandoor, one can keep multiple breads or 2 pizza. Brands should come up with better safer tandoor and may put fan in that.

I purchased an Agaro before it but returned it as I was sure I was not going to use thise accessories. Also, customer service should be the top most priority as you don't want to be with a broken product without service support. Coming to the product, it is a simple "open it and close it" and switch on type of device which so far gave me good results. It doesn't make much noise and quality seems to be great. It has a wifi connectivity and I can the progress of my cooking on my phone and change it there if I wish to.For an idea, a medium 1.2 kg chicken is roasted very well in 30-35 minutes (depends on voltage). I have an attached a picture for reference. I will be adding more pictures as i will use it more.

I had to sell it when moving abroad, so I bought a large Tefal one which has a similar design to the Philips air fryer, but it was disappointing. It would take 30 to 40 minutes to cook fries - which seemed long compared to the 20 min I'm used to.I decided to go back to Philips and voila, It's really fast. It fries in 15-25 minutes depending on the quantity of the frozen fries used. They come out crispy and yummy, not soft and bland!I like the digital menu in this model. Easy to use and read, and better than the less reliable dials that in many cases stop before they actually reach zero seconds.

Also the larger size appealed to me, so I bought one which worked alright but had a drawer that was very hard to shut. The second one I bought of a different brand had a better design, but didn't cook remotely as good as the first one. I determined through my first two purchases that I liked the concept of air frying, but I wanted an air fryer that worked well with good design. I made the choice to buy the Philips HD9641 from Warehouse Deals in Like New condition. Upon receiving it, the fryer appeared to be unused and never unboxed. I also bought the grilling accessory at the same time.After using it for about a week, it's night and day better than the no name brand units. The build quality is much better, the heft of the fryer is better and the overall performance is much better. I've cooked a variety of foods and I could immediately tell the difference in quality. Food browned better, cooked faster, stayed juicier and the design was much easier to live with. The electronics seem to be solid and they work very well.About the only downside is the capacity. It has plenty of capacity to cook for two people in most cases, but any more than that and you'll probably be doing batches. I'm still amazed at how quickly food cooks. I mean I can go from forming a turkey burger patty to eating in it about 10 minutes. That includes adding cheese and the buns to the air fryer for the last minute. Cooking time is about six minutes at 375 degrees and the patty will have a nice brown crisp on the edges. Cleanup is easy as well. I've bought a lot of kitchen gadgets over the years, but the speed, results, and easy cleanup, mean this will be a well used appliance in my kitchen. I find myself using the grilling accessory for most of my cooks, since it's easier to clean and easier to remove food. Also, I'd recommend a 6- 7" non-stick cake pan to go along with this. You can make a really nice omelette that is super fluffy and perfectly cooked. I had considered a replacement toaster oven with an air fry mode, but after reading about cleanup headaches, I decided on a dedicated unit. No regrets with my decision, other than I wish I had just bought this one first.

They have cooked frozen sausage in only nine minutes and said that the outside came out crispy and inside tender and juicy. Cooking salmon is perfect and pork chops too. Not only is the food coming out perfectly, they said cleanup is the easiest it’s ever been. You don’t have a stove top with splattered oil all over the place. You just pull out The drawer and wash it in the sink and put it back. Unlike cooking on a stove top which includes having to not only clean the pan but the entire stove area and you don’t have that with this air fryer. It is super easy, convenient, and clean up is a snap. This was definitely a winning gift for my parents who are tough customers.

The temperature and timer selection can be done with the knob and the press of the button very conveniently. You can pause the cooking which is very convenient for turning the frying items for even frying. The inside pot can be removed very easily for cleaning either by hand or in a dishwasher. I fried chicken wings, fish, eggplant and samosa within the first few days just to see how well the fryer works. All of them turned out very good. There are many air fryer recipes available online. In fact my chicken wing recipe was from an online source which turned out to be excellent with this fryer. The fryer volume is good for frying for 3-4 people. However, since the cooking takes only 10-15 mins, you can go for another batch if you have the items prepared beforehand.
